The Information We Collect:
The policy applies to all information collected or submitted on the Corporate Research International (CRI) website. CRI collects personal information from each of its auditors. Included with this information is banking or PayPal, home address, and email address. Demographic as well as other personal information about you and your family may be collected to create an auditor profile. For U.S. auditors, social security numbers are collected as well.
The Way We Use This Information:
For U.S. auditors, social security numbers are required to verify certain demographic information like birth date and gender. This keeps auditors from creating multiple accounts and allows CRI to report earning over $600 to the IRS as required by law.
The auditor profile is used to match jobs to auditors. Certain jobs require gender, age, or other specific requirement about you or family.
Banking and/or PayPal information is used only to pay the auditor for work performed.
Email addresses are used to send notices of jobs in an auditor’s area. The area is calculated using their home address. These emails are a requirement of enrolling with CRI. By signing up to be an auditor, they accept that emails will be sent soliciting jobs in their area as well as notifications that the payment for jobs has increased.
Once a job has been selected by an auditor, email notifications of due dates, errors on the survey, payments, and other job specific information will be sent.
CRI will not share any information about an auditor with a client, other auditor, or any other 3rd party.
Our Commitment To Data Security:
To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place all appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
Our Commitment To Children's Privacy:
Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For that reason, we never collect or maintain information at our website from those we actually know are under 18, and no part of our website is structured to attract anyone under 18.
How You Can Access or Correct Your Information:
You can access all your personally identifiable information that we collect online and maintain by direct access to your profile page. Each auditor is assigned a unique, auditor number and controls the password to the page. This auditor information is accessible at all times, and may be modified, by the auditor at any time. We use this procedure to better safeguard your information.
You can correct factual errors in your personally identifiable information by sending us a request that credibly shows error.
To protect your privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections.

Please note that this Privacy Policy may change from time to time. We will post any Privacy Policy changes on this page and, if the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice (including, for certain services, email notification of Privacy Policy changes).
